The year 2020 gave life to the Sattwa Arising band which David had been craving for a few years, as the pull of musical comradeship became stronger. Enter Jeremie Collard on guitar/backing vocals, Mitch Charlton on bass/backing vocals, Adam Bourke on drums and Harrison Jenner on keyboards to complete the line up that is now Sattva Arising. All members have known each other through the local music scenes and all have an individual style that compliments each other and creates something special at every rehearsal.
New single 'Room at the Chapel' available on Spotify and iTunes soon!!!!!!!!! With an accompanying film clip so stay tuned.
Sattva Arising will also be heading back into the studio early next year to begin working on an EP. We've been working on new songs and are itching to get them down on tape (as they said in the good old days).
After the success of the Mind Theft album launch way way back in 2023, the band are ready to head back into the studio and record the follow up which will be an EP (yet to be titled). The five tracks chosen for the release have been developed in a live setting over the past six months and the boys can't wait to get them down on tape.........I mean.....computer :)
The sound of the band has started to focus on the rock/pop genre but, still keeping an open mind with an eclectic list of influences that can appear in the music at any stage. We've also been very lucky to have Ez Eddy from Scapegoat join us on one of the tracks, 'I Gave You Everything'. It's an absolute belter.
"A diversity of influences is no understatement, with nods to the likes of Paul McCartney, Hoodoo Gurus, Radiohead and everyone in between". "Mind Theft is an excellent collection of storytelling"! Forte Magazine (10/2/2021).
Stay tuned for more details!
